Our new "pet"!!!

Baking...

I don’t know if you get something like the “baking bug”... But if you do, I think it bit me... More than once. But knowing myself, I know it won’t last very long. As soon as I get tired of doing too much dishes I start wondering what my hands would look like when I am over 50... A very scary thought!

Well, all I can say is... I am super proud of myself and it makes an awesome breakfast! Yummy!!!

New pet....

Don't worry... It only lasted a day. This is a Cape Dwarf Chameleon and apparently quite rare! After a bit of research and a phone call or two, I decided to take it back to where I found it...

Full spectrum lighting is essential... Sorry buddy, our wedding is taking ALL our money!

Plus...

You need to provide them with water by misting their enclosure 3 times a day... Nope, I am not even ready for children! (And I have a full time job!)

Plus...

They eat crickets, mealworms, wax worms, flies, silk worms, moths AND you need to dust the food items with calcium powder. You have to feed them by hand so you know that they are eating... 

I don’t think I need to know any thing more than this “HOW NOT TO KILL MY CHAMELEON” tips... 

I KNOW he will be better off in the garden.

Triplet Monsters... 2

The Triplets found their way home. Apparently the 3 “human” triplets are crazy about their new toys. Ahhh... Happiness!!! And Jade... Well, Jade just loves boxes. Whenever I bring a new box home, Jade is the first to test it out. So cute!!!

Sunny Sunday

Yesterday was nice and sunny so we decided to stay home and do stuff around the house. Unfortunately washing was high on the list of things we had to do, but luckily I also had some creative work to keep myself busy with. Katie tried her best to do her bit... I guess her presence counts as “moral support”. Sarel spent some time outside working in the garden, playing with the dogs and fixing up an old garden bench.

Weekend!!!

I am really looking forward to this weekend. This was one rough week at work! 

Can't wait to relax and put my feet up! 

And I need to spend some time with all my babies :)

My babies...

Last night I spent some quality time with our dogs. Bonzo, my baby, even had the privilege of lying with us on the couch! Today I miss them terribly. Can’t wait to get back home to love them...

Lazy in the sun...

We had a nice warm weekend, spending a lot of our time relaxing in the sun. Even Jade, our youngest cat, enjoyed the hot spots around the house with us. It just made me way too lazy for this Monday, so for lunch I thought I would do exactly the same... Find a sunny spot somewhere and just relax.
